Default need help

I have a 2000 malibu and while driving to a friends house i rolled the windows down. It started to rain so i went to roll all the windows up and none of them worked. I drove around like that for three days till i spoke to a car guru friend who managed to jump them from the battery to get the windows up. but even they could not figure out what was wrong even with a voltage meter and a light meter aswell as replacing the fuse. I have taken it to a mechanic and even after a weeek there they have yet to get my windows working again. ANY IDEAS PLEASE

It would help if we knew the year of the vehicle.........real generic diagnosis....but your problem is probably going to be to check the wires in the drivers door boot

Sounds like your window switch is fried. You said it started to rain and you had the windows down. Water probably got inside the switch.
