2010 Malibu. The outsde air temperature some times takes 20-25 minutes to start working after starting the engine. Other times, it starts working immediatly Not a world shaking problem but annoying. Bill

 

2010 Should be under warranty, bring it back to the dealer. It's probably a bad sensor.

 

I have had it to the dealer and they report "Verified customer cocern and found the operation to be normal. No repairs recommended or required".

 

dobber, I would suggest that you have your vehicle checked by another dealership to get a second opinion seeing how you are unhappy with the original diagnosis. If you are still unhappy with the second diagnosis please speak with me about the issue. I hope this helps you.
