Default Reduced Engine Power

My 2015 Malibu says reduced engine power and the stability and engine light on. I've had the car a little over 1 year. What is going on?

It happened to me it wasn't the oil but it was a solenoid valve and that controls the oil and it was stuck in the on position there's an intake and outtake solenoid valve they registered the intake and outtake of your oil around $240 fix take it to AutoZone or O'Reilly's and have them put a check and it will show you your code that comes up for me it was a stuck solenoid valve as I said a $240 fix

Default Engine power reduction message

My Malibu just started doing this. It’s been extremely cold here and I found i don’t run the heat it doesn’t happen. Not sure what the heat has to do with it but in the super hot heat of the summer it did the same thing (with out the message tho) and was fine if I turned off the AC.
