I was just wondering everyone's thoughts regarding the 2004 Malibu LS. I am looking for a new car and I came across a great deal to buy a 2004 Malibu LS for 24,000 miles. I love the look and feel of this car. However, I am concerned about the reviews about the power steering. Is this an issue that occurs in every Malibu or is it something that is rare? According to the Carfax the previous owner took good care of the car. The steering shaft was also replaced by the owner's dealership. Does this has anything to do with the power steering? Also, are the repairs for this car costly? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am concerned about the safety of the power steering and reliability, as I will be required to commute far distances for the next two years. Not sure if I should explore another option. Thanks.
