BCM = Body Control Module
located in the center console behind panel on the passenger side

Like I said at the beginning of the last post....make sure you test and confirm that the wires you are hooking up are the right wires. DO NOT use a test light...damage can occur if you probe the wrong wire. Use only a voltmeter

I can not find a lt. blue wire near the ingnition for the tach. I have a 2005 mailbu with the 2.2 dual overhead cam four cylinder. Where else can I tap the tach wire?

Also, is there another spot to tap the ignition(at the key switch), the starter, and the accesory wires other then at the key switch? There's not alot of wire there, and it is a really tight area to work in.

Thanks in advance

Ok, disregard the last two posts. I got the ignition wires and starter wires hooked up. But, I am having two problems that I can not figure out.

First, when I hit the remotew start feature, it runs then shuts off.

Second, when I hit the unlock button it does not work. The lock part works, but the unlock does not.

Last thing, what does this mean about the unlock wire: (with 1.5Kohms resistor) and what do you mean by: Pin 66 or 67 Negative-which should it be, 66 or 67?

Ok, I got the unlock to work right by installing the resistor. But I stilll can't get the remote start to work right. I have even hooked up the disarm wire with a resistor and it still dies after the remote start starts the engine.
