Wife had expressed a wish for a radio with CD to replace her AM / FM only factory radio .

Went by Walley World after work . They had a Kenwood on sale . Pick it up , with an install kit and wiring harness connector . Came with 2 speakers , which I am not sure where I will use them . Car has the standard 4 speakers . ( Radio & speakers for the sale price of $ 50.00 ) .

Valentines Day Present .

I soldered and heat shrank the wiring , pulled off the dash and started on the install kit . Seems like the install kits are more trouble than most of the rest of these projects ?

Got it installed & playing . Sounds good , but I do not drive it enough to know if it sounds better then the factory radio ? Bit it has CD , mp3 & wma capability .

Ran out of daylight before I got the dash on . think that is going to be a chore ? :-(

It was a Lil hard to pop back in place because of the wheel adjustment lever but you just gotta work with it. Took me a Lil while lol

 

Yep , got it back into place . Works fine . Sounds fine , but since I rarely drive Wirey's car , I can not honestly say it sounds any better than the old radio ? But it can do CS's , mp3's and WMA's . Also has an AUX plug .
