Default po757 code

2001 lumina 3.1 with a po757 code. The tranny is slipping, I think, or is between gears, and reving. Its my daughters car. So hard to discribe the problem in detail.
PO757 Shift solenoid B stuck on.
Can someone help me out? Is this some thing I can fix In my own garage ? or is this some thing for the tranny shop ?
Thanks, Buzz

If you have to ask, I doubt it. The shift solenoids are internal to the transaxle. You probably want to get it serviced since it may not even be the solenoid itself. P0757 just means certain commanded gear ratios did not agree with the sensed ratios between input and output shaft speeds.
