Replacing oil pump 3.1

Replacing oil pump 3.1
Has anyone replaced the oil pump in you Lumina 3.1? From what I read there are 3 bolts that are hard to get to on the side of the oil pan, is it easier to pull the motor to replace the pump or is it best to leave in the car. Thanks for any information.
