Default Slapping a 3rd gen Lumina body onto F-body chassis...

edit: I meant F-body chassis in the title.
Hey guys. First post. Plan to lurk around for a bit, so please treat me well.

I got some fire in my soul to make a Hornet replica, because I'm a gigantic Sega geek and merging onto the highway while my car radio yells ROLLING START!!! at me will give my life meaning and purpose.

The Hornet, for those that might not know:

I've recently discovered that I'm going to be spending more time in the U.S before I head back to England than I'd planned to, so I wanted to get stuck in on a long-term project. Maybe. Who knows?

That said, it'd be easy enough to buy a Lumina Z34 (or Beretta GTZ...), paint it red and blue, slap some decals on it and call it a day. Provided I could even find a Lumina Z34 but they're apparently quite scarce in Florida, but that's besides the point. Anyone that's familiar with that there Hornet knows that it does a whole lot of drifting, which brings me to my dilemma.

The Lumina is a FWD car! Sure, FWD cars can drift, but not with anywhere near the amount of finesse a RWD car can. However, I'm too keen on trying to convert a Lumina into a RWD car. Not too keen at all.

So I did some digging and came across someone else's project. He managed to take Lumina's body and slap it onto a Trans Am. He even has a build thread, but he doesn't really go into detail as to what exactly he's doing. It's a build thread, not a guide, after all.

So what I wanted to know, ladies and gentlemen, is where can I get reading material? What should I do to probably research and plan out such a project?

I know that the Lumina's wheelbase is longer than the F-body's, so I'll either have to stretch the frame or shrink the body. That's if I decided to go with an F-body. I could go with a G-body chassis too, but then I'd definitely have to stretch the body. Or I could go with an entirely different chassis, but I'd just be creating even more work for myself....or would I?

I've got plenty of questions and things to consider, as you can see. What I'm asking for is a little bit of focus. Thank you so much in advance!
