Anyone knows how to reset the Change oil message on the dash of a 2001 Impala? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

 

i would think that if you have changed the oil at a garage that they could do it at the same time. if not then it should be in the manual that came with the car.

 

Actually, I didn't have a manual that is why I asked for help. I think I found the answer. Turn the key to run/acc but not start the car, slowly depress the gas/accelerator 3 times within 5 sec. Turn off key and the oil message should be reset. Hope this help someone out there. It worked for me!!

 

im sure that it will help ppl. its sounds to complicated for anyone to remeber for 5 000 kms. LOL
