High speed hesitations

 

Have a 2000 chevy Tahoe limited. My wife just returned from a 300 mi road trip. She complained that after driving for about 3 hours she noticed some stalling or hesitation, she had the cruise control on, she took if off and it was ok then stated up high and it hesitate and could not go more then 60mph. but it ran fine after she got of the interstate.

 

Hi, that happened to me a long time ago and I want to say that the fuel filter was starting to get clogged and just wouldn’t pass enough fuel through when demanding higher speeds...fuel filter?

 

i kind of hope after about 4 years they figured it out. but to add to your suggestion my 02 chevy was gut less when you tried to floor it or anything above normal pedal use. the fuel pump was only putting out 25 psi. replaced that and she was a different truck
