2011 Equinox rad drain plug
The drain plug is the quarter turn kind, plastic.Guy at shop tried to pull out , then silly cone it, no luck with that.
Now the talk is a new rad,... I thinking sealing it with some real good glue, epoxy. Just not sure of the type of plastic
the tank and plug are made. Do have a new plug on the way, part 15781370, some sites say it will fit, others
do not offer it.Any ideas and help would be great.
Thanx

After getting the old plug out,(not easy) and just replacing the O ring, and pushing the plug back in,(also not easy) problem fixed.
Must say, the design of drain plug is just plain stupid, hope the newer trucks don`t have it.
The epoxy was left on the bench, and the new rad left in the box.The new unused plug and epoxy left in the truck, just in case.
