Default ABS light and traction control light

My 2005 Equinox, the traction control light comes on as well as the abs light. After reading here I was wondering if this is a manufacturing flaw, there seems to be alot of them? Just trying to make sense of this and getting it fixed. Took it to GoodYear and they replaced the front brakes and the rear cylinder and that worked for a couple of days now we are back to brakes not working properly. Is the only choice the Chevy dealership?

So you obviously don't like any sort of maintenance as your brakes were below spec?

Nothing lasts forever... How is the electrical connection for the ABS? Wires damaged? cut? How are the ABS sensors? Worn? Do you have a sealed unit? REPLACE THEM..

Actually we have the car maintained regularly. The brakes were replaced less than a yr ago and most recently Good Year replaced the front brakes, turned the rotors and replaced a rear cylinder as well as running numerous tests on the system and checking out the computer to see if there was a problem with that. They also checked the sensors and determined that they were . Thanks for your insight though.
