Just lowered my 07 tahoe, and ABS and Traction control light is on! Help?
Hi guys!
I just had a guy install a ground force lowering kit for me, part # G379856, or 9856. (Depending on where you search.)
The package came with:
2 front spindles.
2 rear shocks
2 rear coils
and rubber bump stops.
He installed it and all of a sudden the lights came on. What should I do? Take it to a dealer? Or is there some way to reset this?
any help is appreciated.
thanks!

hey, thanks for the reply. yes i did. then i even-- reluctantly took it to the dealer. they didnt have time to officially look at it, but the service advisor crawled under and checked it out too and couldnt find anything.
i guess im just going to take it in tomorrow and let them see what they can find. i was hesitant on doing that since dealers are always quick to say "well its gonna cost $XXX to fix the damage caused by the mods you did to your vehicle." will update once i get an answer.

Yeah I was about to suggest the wheel speed sensor wire.... Glad you got it fixed.
Lowering kits are tricky. Mine left me with a brake problem that began several days after lowering. It had be baffled, but thanks to shawnvw on the forum, I replaced the flexible brake hose and its fine.
Thanks for thanking who gave you advice. Its always nice to let them know that they were spot-on.
