Hello all CF.Members.My Chev Silverado 1992 modelZ71 off road is very ill plz help.It is the 5.7 TBI with manual gearbox.Step up sides.It runs but very poorly,at the moment,no power at all if you nurse it it will go but only just.We have only one agent in my home town of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.But they do not have the diagnostics for this truck.I changed the fuel pump and spark plugs but no change.back firing and coughing it only has 133000 on the clock,any help much appreciated many thxs Reg with a sick Chev.Oh we don't have any spares for this truck here in Africa so i have to rely on family and friends in Good old USA to help out.Very frustrating cheers Reg.

If the plug wires are original, replace them. Click on the link below for spark plug condition, what did they look like, and were all of them the same condition?
