I have a 95 z71 extended cab. The RPO codes are not in the glove box and was wanting to know if I can use the vin to find out what kind and what rear gear ratio is.
Also want to know if I can swap the case unit in the rear diff with a zexel torsen case and keep the rear gear ratio the same? Or do I need to go a different route?
I am not a big off road guy. I just want to have that posi rear end when pulling or 4 wheeling.
If anyone has any answers I would take all the help I can get. I just don't want to go out and spend a whole bunch of money and it not work.
