new to the group, use to be a ford guy but not anymore!
hey everyone, i just joined up because i am new to chevy and thought i would come here for advice and info
i use to be a ford guy and worked for them for 4 years and bought a 2006 Saleen S281SC which has had nothing but problems since the day i bought it and ford wont do sh*t about it. i have had bad electrical problems with it for 2+ years now and an open lemon law suit against them for over a year and a half on it, no results!
i am thinking they are dragging it out till my warranty is gone so they can give me the finger and say that they don't have to deal with it [
]so now i am done with ford and going to see how chevy treats me and plus i want the new Camaro

i already ordered my new 2010 Camaro SS in Black and fully loaded up and it will be getting the LS7 Engine put in it when it arrives along with Vortech's 7.0L Supercharger that normally goes in the new ZO6 but will be going on my new Camaro!!! [:-]
i have no clue what it will put out power wise but it will be a monster when done and one rare beast that you wont want to go up against, American Muscle baby LOL
anyways please throw any ideas my way as to what you guys think on that engine and expected power output of it. i just saw that they are going to do three special packages, one all black V6 edition, one dale earnheart edition, and the LS7 edition so yea just going off that on the chevy camaro website!

Welcome. We will certainly enjoy having youamongst us. That Ford of your's is pretty exotic for a daily driver (was it?). Looking foreward to your comparison of both carstoo.
yup it is my daily driver and i got about 38k miles racked up on it now!
the electrical problem is still there but it does still run and gets me from point A to point B just fine, fast, and in style
i can't wait to get my hands on the new camaro though, the S281 will be retired once i get that baby in my grasps LOL
that wont be a daily driver with the 600+ HP i am going to have pumping out of it, i am getting an 08 tahoe LTZ as well to drive around so yea the miles on the camaro will stay down.
i hope chevy just charges me the difference in price and takes my 6.2L off me when i have them drop the new 7.0L engine in my camaro. i don't want to be stuck with an extra engine and then have to try to sell it to someone, it will be brand new and will come out with less the 100 miles on her!

keeps getting pushed back? they arrive at dealerships in april 2009 which is in 4 months!
they are starting the build next month so the time frame matches unless there is something i didn't hear about GM?
they got their money along with the other two companies
