Welcome to the forum!! Curious about somthing. A 454 with a TH350. Why not a TH400? and how did you beef-up the 350 for racing? Just curious. Great looking ride and nice pics too. Times??? Again, nice having you here.

 

Thank you, glad to be here. The powertain was in the car when I bought it March/97. I have rebuilt the trans once approx. 7 years ago. In total I have put less than 8000 KMS (5000 miles) on the car since then. Probably 50 to 60 miles of drag racing maybe more? The trans has some good parts, but nothing too exotic. Excellent 3600 stall coverter makes it fun to race. The engine was dynoed at 504 HP @ 5800 and 513 LBS/FT at 4800 RPMS. Best time has been 11:74 @ 113.78 MPH with a 1.63 sixty foot time in cool weather. Absolute blast to drive. Now that I have bought this 502 engine, I will be pulling out the LS6, it has very low mileage on it.
