my name is michael when i drive my chevy malibu 1999 it over heats and when i stop it i hear aair coming from the hose where the thermostat is located and i keep putting water in and it boils over the fans are working great is it the thermostat?

it sounds like your thermostat is stuck closed

 

click button upper left that says new thread or start new thread.

 

You need to flush the radiator.
