Default Po305 misfire...

Hi..Chris Collins here...have a question about my 97 Chevy S10 4.3 vortex rear wheel drive extended cab.."hope that's enough info.." any how..it was running rough for awhile and using more fuel than normal..well it also had a po300 random misfire code so like any other hope of a quick fix I changed the plugs and wires and rotor and cap thinking it was old and I don't know when they was changed last ...so after that it ran so much nicer and I thought I naild it but after about a week it was misfiring again only this time it was a PO 305 code meaning cylinder 5 ..so looked for vacuum leaks found pcv hose cracked then replaced that .. doesn't seem right yet..but I will have to wait for light to come back on to rescan...any idea?? Oh...I also fan a leak test around the intake with the ol propane tank and didn't come up with any apparent leaks..sooo??
