Seized Engine?
I am thinking of buying a 99 silverado 1500 off of my friend. He tells me the engine is seized, but he only wants $1500. It has 400K but the tran has 10K. I tried to turn over the engine, it wont move, but I am thinking mabey the battery is jsut dead.? I am a heavy duty mechanic but I have never looked at anything more than Diesel or Turbo fours. How can i crank this engine over?
