Hi everyone, I have just acquired a Vortec 5.7 from a 1996 chevy pick up. I would like to install the engine in my 1976 C10 Pickup. The truck has a TH350 transmission that I would like to use since it has a pretty fresh rebuild. Is there anyone that has done this before and if so, I would greatly appreciate some tricks and/or pointers. I do not have a wiring harness for the engine or ecm. So I know I will have to get them both. It does have the fuel injection system intact and I would like to use it if possible, rather than throwing a carb on. Thanks for the input. It should be a fun project!
