I have a GMC Jimmy its like the S10 and blazers it has a Vortex 4.3 in it. I am having terrible issues with the timming and the OBD 2 will not read all I get from it is a "Link Error" code from it. I have tried everything from ground wires to fuses for the OBD 2 issues. I think I have the timming situated. I also have the issues with a multiple misfire code before it stopped working. Changed all the plugs and wires and i was still throwing it or P0301 and thats a misfire for 1. Any help for the issues is greatly appreciated its the only truck that I have and I need it for every day driving. Long distances I usually go about 110 miles every day as part of my job.
