Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and recently my grandfather gave me his 1979 Nova Custom that's been restored but is all original with 44,000 miles and very beautiful car ! The dinner switch was sticking so I replaced with another and seemed to fix the problem well went out to dinner and drove the car and headlights went out on top of a busy MTn highway !!! OH NO! They start flickering and going crazy on and off no matter what I do with the dimmer . They will go off with car sitting still . I bought a new headlight switch today haven't installed yet also when I recieved the car the autometer voltmeter gauge isn't working and I had electrical system tested at OReilys and alternator and battery are good . Any ideas friends ? God bless thanks !!
