Default Need help with buying a 69-73 Nova!

Well, finally I have enough money (4k) to spend on my very first car! By "my very first car" I mean, no more borrowing my parents old clunker.

I've been doing some serious reading about the world of cars but when it comes to just looking at one and deciding to put it into the "good" or "bad" category I just can't tell.

I've searched for eons to find the perfect Nova for me an finally found come candidates. I would love for you guys to help a new guy out and pick the "perfect" Nova. I've e-mailed all the guys today for more info about interior and trasmission pics.

Love it but I'm looking for a 350, V8 manual....

I'm at a real loss here...Sheet metal for a body (What's the differece)? Cragers on back? Does he mean Chargers?

Looks really nice....

(NOTE: its actually in San Diego) This is like the lowest of the low....but its a fresh start. I've never heard of a "2 speed power glide" before. What is it?

Target: Nova, V8 350, manual 3 or 4 speed (By the way which is better?).

This is really all I could muster. I've spent weeks looking for a 69-73 Nova. Any of the cars I would be willing to buy, but it's also important that I LEARN from experience about these jems. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also if anyone finds an ad for a Nova like the specified in the southern California region(LA, Orange County, San Diego) could you send me a private message?

I know this is asking a lot, but well, my parents are no help and I'm really relying on you guys and my auto-savvy auto-shop friends who are going to come with me.

(NOTE: If it helps, YES I do have access to a really nice auto-shop at our school.)
