Default Rough idle in gear.

Hello everyone! I have a 1942 Chevy coupe that I inherited from my father in law. I recently got it running. Fixed an exhaust leak and put all new plugs wires and distributor on. Ran awesome for a couple of weeks but a couple of days ago it started running horrible with my foot on the brake at stop lights. Barely stays running, lots of clunking. Checked for vacuum leaks, found none. Spark plugs checked out ok as well as compression test on each cylinder. Valves? Lifter? It’s a 1969 SB 327. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your post didn't make it through. Can you repost? I had a Chevy Nova back in the day. Great car!
