Help! This is my first time on this site & I'm looking for any advise that may be helpful. My dad has a 1949 Chevy 6 cylinder, 216. He has had it running and had it completely restored. This year he is having a problem keeping it running. He has already replaced the fuel fitler. It is acting like it is not getting gas. After replacing the fuel filter, he drove it around the yard and then headed to town and made it about 3 miles before it stopped running. It acted like it ran out of gas, but of coarse had plenty of fuel. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!!!
