Default 1976 Suburban 400ci

I am attempting to get running a 76 suburban with a 350 in it. Sitting for 19 years. I have replaced the fuel pump, cleaned the carb and replaced a few fuel lines. I need to dump out some old gas and have a question. I see along the frame on the bottom some old fuel lines and I am sure one Is a return line and one Is a incoming line. The lines each connect to a side of a steel line with hose clamps and I want to know if I can dump the old fuel from there. Will post pictures tomorrow after the rain stops but if someone knows before hand what I'm talking about please let me know. Also any recommendations let me know! I'm restoring this for my landlord.

I would suggest dropping the tank, go from there. Good looking truck!

How do you drop the tank on it? I looked underneath for straps or bolts and didn't see anything. I doubt I will find a YouTube video on it

Not to be a wise azz, but if you are going to take on a project like this, you are going to have to get with it in person. I don't know how the tank attaches to the frame, but it does. I also understand asking for advice , I can't help with this one.

Great! As I stated not trying to be a wise azz, please post what you have, and what else you might need help with. Into this large project that you have under taken, I for one am a favorite of those years suburban.
