My 85' 2.8 has over 100K and is starting to smoke.
I was asking questions at the local engine shop about
maybe pulling the engine and rebuilding it
He mentioned that they had a new short block on the shelf,but,
he was not sure if it was for front or rear wheel drive.

The casting number is 10065459.
The stamped number is A110201358.

Is there anyone here that can tell me which application this for ???

That should be a fwd engine but from my quick research, its being said that that particular casting number block is prone to cracking
