1985 custom deluxe pickup. Idle speed and puddling rain issues
hey folks, have a couple things im hoping to get some guidance on related to my 85 custom deluxe 10 pickup.
Firstly, the idle speed is insanely high, but im not sure where the adjustor screw is. The air/fuel mix is fine, i just want to decrease the running idle. Can literally drive faster than 40km/h with zero gas pedal, needless to say this thing is a gas guzzler.
Secondly, Im leaking water into the driver side wheel well when it rains, after some generic online searching, I figure Ill clean the area between the hood and windshield (not sure what that plastic grate is called) and clear it of plant debris, which will hopefully stop the leak (it drips at the joint between plastic panneling and metal body in the drivers seat wheelwell). I am not sure how to take off the wipers, which im thinking will give me access to what i want to clean. So basically wondering how to remove the wiper arm, i thought thered be a clip but im not sure if i found it and dont wanna mess with it if im wrong.
Maybe u have another idea or related experience that can help
Thanks

Throttle is the lever that revs the engine right?
And then would this be the adjustor screw? Its flat head screw and both awkward to access and seems to strip like butter, just trying to be 100% sure before climbing up and givin er. Also should the truck be in neutral?
