I have a 1994 Chevy 1500 4.3 v6 with a 4L60E automatic. The transmission will not down shift to 1st gear when you start off driving from a stop. It seems that it is defaulting to 2nd, maybe 3rd gear at times. It will shift to low 1st manually, but this has to be done every time you stop. Driving, the truck runs great.

Both shift solenoids have been replaced, along with the accumulator. No wiring is damages as far as I can tell.

I need help!!!!

 

Have you looked at the trans fuse? Same problem for me...manually shifting was getting on my nerves so I went looking....fuse receptacle was loose and kept blowing fuses. I messed around with them and tightened them up and it has shifted right since.
