Hi , I just picked up a 97 2wd Silverado in really great shape with a blown 5.7 . I have a good running 4.3 litre in my garage now from a 97 4wd GMC Sierra complete with wiring harness. I have changed a couple engines and feel like I have enough experience and tools here to complete this project if it’s possible. I have some questions that I just can’t find answers to but I’m sure you fine people will I have this knowledge.

1)is this swap even possible before I go too far?

2) will my v6 engine bolt up the original transmission in my v8 Silverado?

3) will the wiring harness that I removed from v6 gmc plug into my Silverado?

4) do I need to swap the motor mounts as well?

im sure I will have a million more questions and am grateful for any help I can get. I know that finding a good 350 is the easiest way but I’m on a budget and have the v6,harness and mounts all here and paid for already. If anyone needs more information to be able to help me I’ll be happy to answer. Thanks in advance I appreciate any help I can get.
