I have a 2000 Escalade with the 5.7 vortec and within the last couple of weeks, ive noticed the smell of oil in my fuel. and i was wondering how to fix it, or if there was one.

You mean fuel in the oil?
How many miles on the engine?
Have you changed your PCV valve?

not sure if the 2000 5.7 have this but.... if you have a fpr on the intake manifold...make sure the vacuum line is connected. if this line is off the fuel pressure will be to high. if connected remove it and make sure it doesn't have fuel in it. if it does; replace the fpr

No, I mean I have the smell of oil in my exhaust, the vehicle has 235,xxx miles, and it sat for two years before I got it. I've changed out all 4 O2 sensors, and it is still running rich. The oil smell in the exhaust started like a week ago.

@tech2 The FPR is on the spider in the upper intake, right now im looking for a quick fix just in case it's something simple. if nothing else, ill just take it to the mechanic because i dont have all the tools.

then you might have aged valve seals, or stuck oil control rings. Not surprising on a 23yo truck with 235k miles.

You can get better answers if you have an accurate title.
