Default Trans Sport instrument cluster went black

Recently the instrument cluster went black and the radio has locked itself (theftlock). This happened after I tried to read DTCs using a scanner. No connection were made so I checked all the fuses. Everything looked OK but when we started the engine no lamps or instrument works.

When ignition is on the MIL lights but nothing else. I have googled several hours but cant find any topic to this problem with a Trans Sport.

Does anyone of you guys have any clue to what could have happened?

Best regards from Sweden...

It sounds like you blew a fuse. Check them with a meter if you didn't already. A visual inspection is not reliable. Could also be a loose wire under the dash.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Last night I was about to show a friend when it all started working again.

Either I had got some moisture in the electronics or a lose wire or something.

I will try to remove the instrument cluster in the future to see if there are something behind it that caused the problem.
