I am helping a buddy replace the transmission in a 99 4x4 blazer. This is the first 4x4 transmission I have worked on. So far we have removed the exhaust, the crossmember, the bottom 5 bell housing bolts, the torque converter bolts, the lines and all electrical connectors. Before I get too much further I figured I'd see if anyone that had already done this had any tips on dropping the transmission out. Anything else I need to do or things I need to look for? Thanks for any input.
