Default 2000 Blazer Lacks Power at Times

I have a 2000 Blazer LS 4X4 with the 4.3L V6. At times, especially when I take off at the bottom of a hill, it seems to hesitate and lack power for a few moments, but then regains it's "oomph" and keeps going. It revs a little during this time too. I've also had the windows down and can hear a slight popping sound when this is happening. If you can give me any advice as to what the issue may be here or some way to fix it, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

Also make sure the EGR passage is not clogged in the EGR valve...it only takes a new gasket and remove two bolts and some carbon cleaner to clean the valve...I have done it, very easy.

Also make sure the Mass Air Sensor is clean... CRC makes a cleaner for them and it only takes a few minutes to spray the wires clean. Do Not Touch or bend them or you will need a new one... The Cleaner when new has enough chemical and pressure in the can so that you don't need to touch them...

If you want to determine which procedure fixes the problem then do one at a time and then test out your acceleration, then do the next one until you feel that you got back the acceleration you want...
