2000 blazer Vent selector
Also another issue i have with mine is that the selector to change from the Defrost to Vent or Floor,, will not work.. it basically comes out the dash vents only,, Any thoughts.. Thanks.......
that may be cause by a vac leak on the connector of hoses that plugs into the hvac controls since thats what operates the vent doors to open and shut in the hvac system. what you can do is see if you hear what sounds like air leaking when you switch the **** to the different selections. If you dont hear anything, a hose or the connection may have come loose behind the unit in the dash or may be from a vac leak somewhere in the engine bay. i had a similar issue where it would constantly allow air flow to come out the floor vent and the issue was a loose connector in the dash on the hvac unit. i pushed on the connector and havnt had the issue since. My connector had different color hoses attached to it that just clipped on the controls. i thought they were wires at first until i felt them and realized they were vac lines.
