2000 Chevy S10 won't start! please help
I have a 2000 chevy S10 and I had it sitting for about 3 months in the cold. It started after a new battery was put in and ran for about 4 days then. after letting it sit for a full day and night it wouldn't run anymore. I took it to Canadian Tire and they called me telling me it was running and they hadn't done anything to it. So after another 3 or so days it sat for a full day and a night and same thing stopped running.
The car will turn over but will not start. I get a battery light and a check engine light but only when i'm having the starting problem. I removed the distribution cap looked fine wiped it clean put back on, checked the spark plugs for spark they worked. I can smell gas when trying to start it but i didn't check my fuel pressure. The weird part is it runs fine for consecutive days, but if i leave it for a day it won't run anymore. If anyone has had the same problem or knows what it might be i would love to hear it
Thanks Blaine
