2001 Blazer Smog Pump

Anyone know about the smog pump on the same vehicle?

You shouldn't have smog equipment at all. Unless you are talking about an EGR valve. That recirculates exhaust...

That's what the shop told him it was. I don't know which shop he took it to.

It probably is the EGR.

Smog is an outdated concept. And was used before advanced emissions systems came out.
