ok i have a 87 s10 according to the title haha, my friend built the truck n then recently sold it to me due to him deploying to iraq in july. its a 93 frame, 87 cab, 85 bed, and the motor was a 3.4l out of a 95 firebird with a 4 speed standard tranny. it is 4wd. well i spun a bearing in the 3.4 and was wanting to put a 283 in it. whats your oppinions on this, n will the 283 fit? n i have no idea what transmissions will work, im new to chevys
