Default 91 S10 wont start

Im having some problems with my 91 s10 and was hoping for some helpful tips. Ive had it since february and havent really had any problems with it until now. My wife went to drive it on saturday and after she put it in drive it died and hasnt started since. It looked like it wasnt getting enough fuel so I changed the fuel filter. That didnt help so i changed the ignition control module, that seems to be a common answer on other forums. That didnt work either. The fuel pumps only a yr or so old and i can hear it kick on when i turn the key. Im not real sure what else it could be and would appreciate any advice. Its a 91 with a 4.3 litre 2 whl drive. It does have 280,000 miles but its been very well taken care of. Thanks

Check the fuel pressure. If the fuel pump was replaced with a cheap aftermarket pump then it could be bad. The cheap ones don't tend to last very long. You can still hear it kick on, but is it getting to the necessary pressure?

Cool

so anytime you think you have an ignition module problem pour a little gas down the intake, & turn it over, if the engine fires it is NOT the ignition module & is probably the fuel pump, fuel filter or worse computer issure - however if it does not fire then it is most likley the ignition module or computer to blame.

also have you looked at fuses/relays?

sounds to me like it is the fuel pump, the blazers have the tendancy of the pumps just to go without warning one day. just kapoot and their done.

I used to have a truck that would do this. It would fire but never start and we replaced just about everything. The only way we got it started was to assume there was a short somewhere between the fuel pump and the ignition. Sure enough there was. We ran the fuel pump to the running light switch and she runs like she did before! Hope you get it goin!! Good luck to you.

Try checking if any of the fuses burned out

okay so is it firing when you turn it over? or is it just dead turning? because if it is firing/and buffing when it turns over then it may have something to do with the distriputor or spark plug/coil wires...
