Default 94' s10 blazer 3.6liter v6, "?"

my vehichle was running fine today till i got gas were i usually don't, since den my truck has been acting up. i did an oil change, air filter, n plug wires... it jus started recently dying out on me, it won't stay idling, n when i do get it to idle it will jus bog down n cut off, i did by chance get it to run long enough to get home but it seems dat if i stomp on the gas or jus gas it, it starts to sputter on me...
i had problems before where the vehichle would bog down n lack power but i changed the plug wires since n have had no probs in that manner... i also saw a small stream of white smoke comming out of my airfilter, smelled rich like oil.... right now the vehichle is in my drive way, i had a few small hose lines dryrotted away but i fixed those... i thinkin it might be the feul filter but i'm not sure... when i started havin the problems it got so bad i had to hold da brake wit my left foot n idle it manually with da gas, but even den it would jus bog down n die out.... do u have any clue of what might be happening.... i'd appreciate any advice u can give...i jus went out n started it up from bein cold an she fired right up but after a few seconds it started to idle real hard, as if it were goin to die out... i need sum good advice i can't afford to have my truck crap out....

sounds like your cat is clogged and choking off the exhaust when it warms up.

have u dropped the exhaust 2 even look @ the cat yet? b4 u bust up the cat's guts, why not put in a "test pipe". u know, a small stright piece of pipe used to bypass the cat & "test" the truck 2 see if it still "chokes" when it gets warm.

It would be a 4.3 liter V6.

Sounds like your throttle body is partially clogged. Get some throttle body cleaner (spray can)and spray it in there with the engine running. That should make a difference.
