Default 96 s-10 blazer 4.3l tranny bolts

I can't get to the top tranny bolts in order to pull the engine. Can any one give me some tips? I've pulled my share of trannys but have never seen a hump so tightly conformed to the bell housing. I have a wide array of extensions up to 3 feet long and wobbles. I also have wobble sockets. It's lookig like I'll have to pull the transfer case and front drive shaft and see what that gets me. I still don't think I'll get the second from the top driver side because I managed to get a long extension parrallel with the tranny and in close to the bolt but the "s" curve wouldn't allow the wobble socket to go on. Do I need to pull tranny out with engine??
