recently purchased a woods beater blazer for 450 its the 88 s10 blazer 4x4 4.3L v6 and everything seems to run ok but my gauge instruments dont work at all, just tach and speedometer, the previous owners swapped the engine and all the wires seem to be in place but are connected with wire nuts (alternator wires) ANY SUGGESTIONS MUCH APPRECIATED!

Solder those wires together and use shrink tubing and good electrical tape on them. As for the guages, have you checked the fuses?
