convert '97 burb 2x4 to rear disc brakes

convert '97 burb 2x4 to rear disc brakes
I have a 1997 GMC suburban c1500 2x4 with a drum brake in the rpo is GU6 -- AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO
will a rear axle from s10 zr2 with disc brakes
or another rear axle 3.42ratio with disc brakes 5 lug wheels
drum brakes suck (the self-adjuster doesn't work)
any suggestions would be great maybe a (g body van, Camaro, or impala?
or conversion kit & keep the same rear axle
