A Few ?s
First off I have a '96 S-10 with stock motor with exception of spacer K&N intake and Hypertech tuning. Anyways my questions are as follows:
1. What is the lb/hour rating of the mechanical "spider" injectors
2. Is there a known intake/injection system swap that gets rid of the spider but keeps all the stock equipment(ie. heads, fuel lines thermostat housing, etc. etc. want to not have to do a bunch of modifying to my top end to get rid of the spider).
I quess that's it for the ?s any and all info is helpful and appreciated and thanks ahead of time.

there isn't anything that will get rid of the spider itself, but there is a conversion kit that converts the problematic stock spider to an actual multi port injection unit, which puts the actual injectors at the heads instead of the center of the intake. takes 3 hours or so to swap in. i did this to my 98 tahoe, good results. quicker start, better throttle response, a little better mileage, and a bit more power. total cost should be under $400 with all gaskets and such. check local parts store, or online.

you will see it listed. mine was for a v8, but same procedure applies.

So this conversion kit takes out the mechanical "spider" and replaces it with actual injectors? Do the injectors go inside the intake like the "spider" or does it go on the outside like a "typical" multi port injection system?
