I have a 89 chevy blazer s10.my fuel gauge reads half. when the tank is full.it just started.I had the fuel pump changed last year.I had no problem until now.im thinking the gauge is not working right?when i drive and use gas the fuel goes down.

 

crawl under the vehicle and look for a pinched wire that feeds your sender unit. sounds like its either shorted ot the floats faulty inside.
