Default Gas issue

I have a 1994 4.2l chevy s10blazer and i lost my gascap about a month ago or so and i was wondering if loosing you gascap makes your gas burn faster. As in lower mpg. Anyone?

Just don't keep the tank full...................

Not likely to cause your problem. For safety reasons you should get a new one though.
