Heater Blowing Cold in 2000 blazer

2000 Chevy Blazer LS WILL NOT START
I drove my blazer to walmart the other morning come back out and got in it and it would not start. So i had it towed home. Needless to say i just put new plugs in it new wires and a new coil and it drove great for about a 1000 miles until it left me stranded at walmart. So i got it here and all it would do is turn over. So i put a new distributor in it or course it came with a cap and rotor so now when i try to start it the motor sounds completly different. So i pulled out. Spark plug 1 and made sure it was at tdc and i also pulled the cap of and the rotor was sitting at number 6 on the distributor so i dont know what else it could be can someone please help me
