I have a 2001 s10 extreme 4.3, the thing won't idle. been told could be bad gas(so i put injector cleaner and high test) i changed throtte control sensor,cleaned mass air flow as well ) lowered a litttle but still idling high?

it could be your iac.

 

I know the mid 90's 4.3 were prone to the EGR valve getting coked up pretty bad and causing idle issues as well as injectors and poppets under the plenum.
